#12 Jack Jumper Ant
Jack Jumper Ants might sound foreign to you but it’s well-known in Australia. If the name hasn’t clued you in, this ant jumps. As if that weren’t already horrific enough, these ants sting too and inject their victims with mild venom.
Their bites are severely painful but will only cause redness and swelling. However, be vigilant of the symptoms of anaphylactic shock, especially since more people are allergic to this ant rather than to bees.
Even though deaths are rare, it’s been known to happen.
