#20 Giant Centipede
Contrary to popular belief, centipedes technically belong to the arthropod family. One of the most dangerous being the Giant Centipede.
Their venom was designed to kill prey 15x their size in less than a minute by affecting cardiovascular, respiratory, and nervous systems.
While their bite is less fatal for humans, it can still cause severe pain, local inflammation, fever, and nausea. Most human encounters with a giant centipede end with a health concern needing to be addressed.
Luckily, giant centipedes are solitary creatures who only attack when threatened.
