#25 Baboon Spider
Although the Baboon Spider is often confused with a tarantula, this belongs to a spider group native to South Africa.
This arachnid is relatively harmless to humans, choosing to only come out from underground burrows to hunt insects. Interestingly, it has deep black fangs used to pack a painful bite, leaving visible marks and inducing a burning sensation lasting several hours.
It’s neurotoxic to humans but can be dealt with using a simple antihistamine.
