Most Dangerous Bugs In The World That You Should Stay Away From

Giant Japanese Hornets

#34 Giant Japanese Hornets

Hornets on their own already have a pretty bad reputation. Giant Japanese hornets – especially given the first word of their name – sound even more horrifying.

They grow to a length of 2 inches and are known for being especially aggressive and bold, so they tend not to hold back. One single colony has 700 hornets in it.

Giant Japanese hornet stings impart venom that can dissolve tissue and trigger severe allergic reactions quickly. Repeated stings, such as by a hive of hornets, could lead to death.

Annually, around 40 deaths are caused by these hornets.
